Say it ain't so, Homer. This season, "The Simpsons" has averaged 7.1 million viewers. That is a drop of nearly 19% from five years ago, when the show averaged 8.7 million viewers. In the coveted category of viewers ages 18 to 49, ratings for "The Simpsons" have fallen 17%.Read the full story at the link below:
Most shows experience ratings declines as they age. The conundrum is that production costs rise at the same time because producers and actors typically get big raises the longer a program stays on the air.

Why do liberals have so much hatred toward Israel or anyone willing to stand with Israel?
Katy Perry is a pop singer/songwriter who churns out annoying Billboard hits ("Firework," "Teenage Dream," "Hot N Cold") that your tween-age kids love and you love to hate (yes, I speak from experience). She made news this week after tying Michael Jackson’s record of scoring 5 #1 Billboard hits off a single album.Read more at Malkin's website.
She also made some little-noticed waves on Twitter that should be newsworthy.
In a response to a fan of hers on Monday, she tweeted:
I am! My prayers are for you guys tonight, SHALOM! RT @ luvmikapenniman: @katyperry #prayforisrael please pray with us
Over the past 24 hours, all hell has broken loose — with Palestinian, Muslim, and progressive Twitter followers lashing out at Perry for her innocuous tweet asking others to pray for Israel.

Is that a great headline or what? I dare you not to read this column by Jeff Edelstein of The Trentonian. If there's a better metaphor for Generation X's sputtering start as the future leaders of America than Jennifer Aniston and her naked breasts, well, I don't know what it is.Read the full column at the link below:
Yep. A topless Jennifer Aniston is a shiny, bright example of where this country headed, and I believe it's a good place.
See, Aniston co-stars in the dark comedy "Horrible Bosses," a movie coming out July 8. And for the first time in her career, she filmed nude scenes. As of this moment, the director and studio heads at Warner Bros. have not publicly revealed their decision as to whether or not Aniston's naked chest will stay in the picture.
Well, without putting too fine a point on it, I believe the forward progress of this country may in fact depend on whether or not Aniston's nude scenes make the final cut.
