Funny email about Obamacare

An email that's been making the rounds:

The medical profession evaluates Obama's new health care package:
The Allergists were in favor of scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve. Meanwhile, Obstetricians felt certain everyone was laboring under a misconception, while the Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted. Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Pediatricians said, "Oh, grow up!" The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing and the Internists claimed it would indeed be a bitter pill to swallow. The Plastic Surgeons opined that this proposal would "put a whole new face on the matter." The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed-off at the whole idea. Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those lofty Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no. In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington.

Mitt Romney: Why I'd repeal ObamaCare

Mitt Romney uses the 2nd anniversary of the signing of Obamcare into law to make the case for pulling the plug on the flawed legislation:
"... the case against ObamaCare extends far beyond questions about its constitutionality. President Obama's program is an unfolding disaster for the American economy, a budget-busting entitlement, and a dramatic new federal intrusion into our lives."

Columnist: Your doctor could be Obama

Columnist Nat Hentoff has broken ranks with his liberal colleagues to warn Americans of the dangers of Obamacare.

Hentoff writes: "Starting in July 2014, if Barack Obama is still president, a 15-member board that he selects with Senate confirmation -- the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) -- will be in charge of deciding when to reduce government spending per capita (for each person) on health care."

In other words, Obama will install a rationing board to decide who gets health care ... and who is allowed to die.

As of July 2014, your doctor could be Obama

Columnist: Choking on Obamacare

George F. Will on how Obamacare is one of many job-killing initiatives imposed on U.S. employers by Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats:
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, by 2008 the cost of federal regulations had reached $1.75 trillion. That was 14 percent of national income unavailable for job-creating investments. And that was more than 11,000 regulations ago.

Federal judge rules Obamacare unconstitutional

A federal judge in Pennsylvania is the latest to strike down the key provision in the Obamacare bill forcing citizens to purchase health insurance.

From Judge Christopher C. Conner's ruling:
"The nation undoubtably faces a health care crisis. Scores of individuals are uninsured and the costs to all citizens are measurable and significant. The federal government, however, is one of limited enumerated powers, and Congress's efforts to remedy the ailing health care and health insurance markets must fit squarely within the boundaries of those powers."
