Gallup: 76% Not Satisfied With Way Things Are Going Under Obama
After 5 full years of Obama policies, nearly 8 in 10 Americans are
not satisfied with the way things are going in this country, according
to a new Gallup survey. The other two probably work for the Obama Administration.

'Americans have lost a lot of confidence and replaced it with fear'
James Pethokoukis of the American Enterprise Institute on the continuing economic malaise following six years of disastrous policies under Barack Obama:
Americans have lost a lot of confidence and replaced it with fear and concern that if something goes wrong things will get even worse. People no longer have that feeling that if they fall down they can pick themselves back up. And I think that’s expressed in the expectation variables. The economy needs to put in stronger numbers for people to feel that they are on more solid ground. And it's fair to say that the politician simply don't get it and don't accept the blame for their contribution to this difficult situation. I was not very optimistic about what the Michigan index would do this week. But the survey managed to come in bellow my expectations. It's a very depressing report.Economist: 'Americans have lost a lot of confidence and replaced it with fear'

Cook Political Report Adjusts Ratings for PA-6 and PA-8 to 'Likely Republican'
Democratic hopes for making up any ground in the House of Representatives are looking bleak as the highly-respected Cook Report has moved two Southeastern Pennsylvania Congressional races from "Leans Republican" to "Likely Republican."
The 6th District race is especially painful for Dems because it's an open race now that incumbent Republican Congressman Jim Gerlach is retiring. But fellow Republican Ryan Costello appears to have the best chance of replacing Gerlach over Democrat Manan Trivedi, who has already lost to Gerlach in 2010 and 2012 and is getting little traction pushing Obama's failed agenda.
The 6th stretches over parts of Chester, Montgomery, Berks and Lebanon counties. Gerlach has held the 6th District seat since it was created in 2002.
Trivedi has also been dogged by criticism of being a carpetbagger. He doesn't live in the 6th District and works in Washington, D.C.
In the 8th Congressional District, incumbent Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick looks like a good bet for re-election against Democratic challenger Kevin Strouse. This Bucks County district has been very competitive in recent elections.
According to PoliticsPA, a left-leaning website that keeps tabs on Keystone State politics, the 6th and 8th districts were the Democratic Party's best shots are taking back House seats in Pennsylvania. Oh well, better luck in 2016.

Third-party hopefuls abandon bids for Pa. governor
Pennsylvania makes it very difficult for third-party candidates to get on the ballot. Both the Green Party candidate and the Libertarian Party candidate for Pa. governor say they can't gather the minimum signatures needed to get on the November ballot. That's a shame because voters should have more to choose from than an embattled incumbent who can't get along with his own party (Tom Corbett) and a limousine liberal millionaire who has already been bought-and-paid-for by labor unions and whose only goal is to raise taxes (Tom Wolf).
