PA Turnpike tolls up for 2010

Welcome to 2010 and another round of toll increases on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Effective Jan. 1, Turnpike tolls went up 3 percent. That follows a 25 percent toll increase in January 2009 and likely will be followed by another 3 percent increase in January 2011.

Oh and since when does the tolls from the Turnpike go to the PENNDOT fund?? this is what I'm hearing at this point. Its my opinion it will be going towards Salary's and benefits I hear the Turnpike Commissioner get a six figure Salary plus I think this is more then enough for one person then again I might be wrong. The Turnpike Building is one heck of a building cost I could just guess did they really need this don't think so. The former Governor(Thornburgh) is correct. Do I use the Turnpike sure do I thing its worth it at this point I have to say NO will I keep using it on limited bases knowing were the money is going would help.
