At last something to cheer about: Through the first six months of the year, the Obama deficit has reached $600 billion. That's smaller than the $779 billion Obama racked up in the first six months of the 2012 budget year.

If this trend keeps up, Obama will finish the current fiscal year without the usual $1 Trillion-plus deficit. He's still spending more than we're taking in, but the hole won't be as deep. Yea!
