Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey issued the following statement on tonight’s presidential debate: 

"It’s rare that a debate produces the kind of clear winner we saw tonight. Governor Romney needed to articulate a plan for the next four years. He did just that, presenting the kind of plan we’ve been waiting to see from the President. We haven’t seen Barack Obama’s plan, and we didn’t get it in tonight’s debate either. Based on what we heard in Denver, the choice in this election is between a new plan for jobs and prosperity and more of the same failed policies that have yielded economic stagnation and job loss."
