The Rendell Legacy

From a terrific editorial in The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Gov. Ed Rendell's disastrous tenure as governor of Pennsylvania:
How rotten? Pennsylvania Auditor General Jack Wagner last week noted that spending during Rendell's term ballooned by about 33 percent, nearly twice the rate of inflation, and that he'll leave the next governor with a budget hole of $5 billion
